Things to do in Aviemore, Rothiemurchus and the Cairngorms

When we say there's something for everyone, we really do mean it. Whether you're looking for adrenaline-filled adventure sports or a day at the spa, eating and drinking or picturesque running trails, a peaceful round of golf or a mud-spattered quake bike trek, you won't have to go far. Below are some useful links on the local area, history and activities.

Spey Valley Golf

The natural backdrop of the Cairngorm Mountains provides an iconic location for golf and Strathspey boasts eight superb golf courses. These range from Spey Valley Golf Course, Scotland's newest Championship course in Aviemore, through the internationally renowned course at Boat of Garten, to the welcoming courses at Carrbridge, Grantown on Spey, Kingussie and Newtonmore.

For only £20, you can purchase the Badenoch and Strathspey Golf Pass, which entitles you to play at any of the Cairngorm National Park courses at a discount of 30%.
